We can see how successful social medias are getting nowadays. Even in China, a country with a lot of censorship laws, it seems that it leads the way regarding using a social media-based business model. In fact, a lot of companies post their offers online and Chinese are maybe a lot more sensitive that Europeans (even if the number of Chinese is a lot more important).
I think we are entering in a new area of online marketing and business through social medias. Those who already understand this point will definitely benefit hugely of this impact.

I'm quite curious to see how it will evolve considering the fact that we are talking about a country which trys to do the best it can to control medias. What is it possible to do when we know that social medias cross frontiers? Seems to me that it is a huge opportunity for chineses people. However, let's notice that chinese people use their own version of SM (QQ if I remember well and not FB).
ReplyDeleteBut the biggest question seems to understand how the SMO will evolve in China. We knwo China is facing a huge "business boom" but will it be able to "market" (through netlinking & SMO) just as we do?
