Article : World Chocolate Wonderland theme park opens in Beijing.

In yesterday's news on 4hoteliers.com website, a highlight on the new theme park in Beijing was made. Actually, this theme park - opened on the 29th January, 2010 - is based on chocolate, candies and wonderland theme.

As it is the first chocolate theme park in China, I find this article interesting because Chinese can discover the history of chocolate and the way to make it. Besides, it is not only for Chinese but also for tourists from all over the world.

Moreover, people can even find famous buildings made in chocolate like the Great Wall. We can also learn and try to make chocolate as well as chocolate architectural things. And for people who are not so fond of chocolate, there are still other halls: World's Candy Hall, Sweet Experience Hall, Wonderland Theme Hall... We can find other outdoor activities too.

As I love chocolate and as I am very greedy, I would love to go to this World Chocolate Wonderland! I have the feeling that I might not be the only one...

Just an advice: be careful not to eat too much chocolate and candies or you could be sick!!! ;)

  1. And I thought gluttony was a sin!!! Yet another chocolate wonderland has opened its door! I am just wondering how we can resist when facing such temptation? From chocolate sculpture, to gift shop and experimentation laboratories, one's has no chance surviving without being tempted. Every thing is made customer to envy it. Lucy, I will definitely come with you whenever you decide to visit the park eventhough we will for sure be sick at the end of the journey.....

  2. Wouaou! I think my next trip to Beijing will be less cultural and more gastronomic :))

I think this concept is interesting since Chinese people are not really fond of chocolate. This is a excellent way to introduce a "chocolate" culture in China.
